What are normal hours of operation? We are usually open Thursday-Saturday (depending on bookings) with the the bar and kitchen opening at 6:00 p.m., showroom doors at 7:00 p.m. and show time is 8:00 p.m. We generally close one hour after show time. Please review each show as times are subject to change.
What are the ticketing options at the Kessler? Each show has its own seating configuration. Types of tickets may include Standing Room Only, General Admission Seating, Reserved Gallery Seating, VIP Table with Seats and Suites with Seats. Simply click on the buy button of the show you want to see for the different options.
What do the seating configurations look like? Once you click on the BUY TICKETS button, you’ll get a view of the seating configuration after the description of the show. Or you can click here for a sample.
Where can I buy tickets? Advanced tickets can be purchased through our website. If tickets still remain, they can purchased at the door the night of the show.
I already purchased tickets and have a question, who can I contact? Please email our ticketing company with your ticketing question.
Where do I park and how much does it cost? All parking around the Kessler is free. You may park in the lots immediately to the East and West of the Theater. In addition, abundant street parking is available in front, on the side and behind the theater along 7th street.
How can I retrieve something I lost, left or forgot? Please email us with a brief description or come by during normal hours of operation to see if we found it.
Does the Kessler have a bar? Yes, the Kessler has a full bar including 18 beers, 12 wines and a full list of spirits. Please note that our bar is a walk-up bar and we do not have regular waitstaff.
Does the Kessler have a kitchen? Yes! Our kitchen is open and under the care of Kerin Rodriguez. Come try some of our new menu items!
Do you have any age restrictions? Each show will have its own age policy, but in general those 17 and under need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
When is your box office open? We do not have a traditional box office, as all our advance ticket sales are done online. However, tickets for shows that are not sold out are available for purchase at the door on the evening of the show.
How do I get my tickets? Tickets are “paperless” and available at Will Call. All you need is your confirmation number and an ID with the name the tickets were purchased under. If you have a question about your ticket, please email our ticketing company, Prekindle.
What is your video/camera/recording policy? The recording policy is set by each artist. Most local shows may be recorded as long as it is not disruptive to the patrons or talent. Most touring artist have restrictions that do not allow for any type of recording device during a show. If you want to be sure, email Jeff prior to the show.
What are the best local hotel accommodations? In our opinion, Belmont Hotel (www.belmontdallas.com). Belmont Hotel is less than 2 miles from our venue and offers special rates to Kessler patrons.
The Kessler is a historic theater. Does it have accessible seating? Yes, a small ramp that accommodates wheelchairs descends from the lobby to performance space on the first floor. The accessible seating has unobstructed site lines and is located less than ten feet from the stage. Up to three contiguous seats can be assigned next to the accessible seating if available at the time of purchase. Please make arrangements for contagious seating at the time of purchase by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that, as a historic building, we do not have elevator access to the Reserved Gallery or balcony area.
