The Kessler Theater is pleased to present Requiem for the Troposphere, an immersive 3D multimedia experience featuring a performance collaboration between classical and jazz pianist Thiago Nascimento and the Dallas-based projection team LightWare Labs. Prepare for a thought-provoking evening of magnificent sight and sound, focusing specifically on the many challenges that we face from severe weather and dramatic climate change.
Thiago Nascimento
Thiago Nascimento is a pianist praised for his innate musicality, impressive technique, and ability to improvise in a variety of styles. His unique talents span classical piano technique, expressive musicality, “stride” jazz piano, improvisation and composition.
He began his musical studies at Booker T. Washington High School for the Performing and Visual Arts then continued to Peabody Conservatory in Baltimore, MD and finally Southern Methodist University where he graduated in 2008 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in piano performance.
Thiago currently works as a professional pianist, composer, entertainer and maker in the DFW area.
