ZZ Ward burst onto the scene with her fiery Eleven Roses mixtape in early 2012 – sparking a media frenzy and showcasing her soulful take on a blues/hip hop blend, which ultimently led to her critically-acclaimed debut album Til The Casket Drops. Her debut off the album, the foot-stomping “Put The Gun Down,” broke into the Top 10 on the AAA radio chart – staying there for 10 weeks and was followed by two more Top 10 singles, her anthemic “365 Days” and her gut-wrenching ballad “Last Love Song.” A bonafide headliner, ZZ has wrapped numerous sold-out headlining tours, opened for Fitz & The Tantrums, Gary Clark Jr, and Eric Clapton and has quickly become a festival darling – gracing stages including Coachella, Bonnaroo, Firefly, and Made in America.
Whether for a vast audience or intimate crowd, ZZ infuses the soulfulness of her blues and the passion of her hip-hop icons to inspire her own sound. In addition to her extensive tour schedule, ZZ has a multitude of live performances under her belt including Jimmy Kimmel Live, Conan, The Late Show with David Letterman, Good Morning America, The Tonight Show, The View, and more.
