If a show is sold out, you can sign up for the waitlist using

Tixel is the only authorized fan-to-fan exchange for purchasing or reselling verified tickets at The Kessler.

All ticket sales are final and nonrefundable. If you decide to give the tickets to a friend,
you can change the name on your tickets yourself via
Prekindle
up to 24 hours before the show.

If you need to change the information after that point or have other ticket-related questions,

is an authorized fan-to-fan ticket resale exchange platform. On occasion, but rarely, an artist
will sell limited tickets directly from their site.

Please be cautious when purchasing tickets from a third-party vendor or from people on social media,
as tickets purchased from unauthorized sources might be fake and do not guarantee entry.
If you purchased a fake or fraudulent ticket, we encourage you to check out
FixTheTix.

We reserve the right to prohibit the transfer or cancel the purchase of any ticket if we believe
the purchase was made solely for the intent of reselling at a higher price.

Tickets are “paperless”. You should have received your tickets via email from Prekindle.
Additionally, you can check in at the door with your confirmation number and an ID with the name
the tickets were purchased under.

Each show has its own seating configuration. Types of tickets may include General Admission,
Standing Room Only, General Admission Seated, Reserved Gallery Seating, Tables with 4 seats,
and Suites with 8 seats. Simply click the buy button for the show you want to see for the
different options at that specific show.

Once you click on the BUY TICKETS button, you’ll get a view of the seating configuration
after the description of the show.

Note that The Kessler does NOT have selectable assigned seating, other than Tables and Suites.
General Admission (GA) Seated tickets and Reserved Gallery tickets are “first come-first served”
as far as seating selection; only the Tables and Suites are assigned.

We are only open during shows, this is usually open Thursday-Saturday (depending on bookings).
Tours and meetings are by appointment only.

Our normal schedule is: the lobby/bar opening at 6:00 p.m., showroom doors at 7:00 p.m.
and show start time at 8:00 p.m. We generally close one hour after show end.
Please review each show as times are subject to change.

Yes, a small ramp that accommodates wheelchairs descends from the lobby to the performance
space on the first floor.

Please make arrangements for accessibility accommodations and/or contiguous seating at the
time of purchase by contacting
Prekindle.

The accessible seating has unobstructed sight lines and is located in close proximity to the stage.
Up to one contiguous seat can be assigned next to the accessible seating if available at the time of purchase.

Note that, as a historic building, we do not have elevator access to the Reserved Gallery (balcony) area.

The Kessler offers burritos at shows from Oak Cliff Burrito Company (limited quantities).
If you are looking for sit-down dining options, some suggested restaurants in close proximity
to the theater include: Nova and Cannon’s Corner Irish Pub. Additionally, there are many great
options in Bishop Arts District, Sylvan|Thirty, and Trinity Groves.

Yes, The Kessler has a full bar featuring Texas beer, wine and spirits. Please note that our
bar is a walk-up bar and we do not have regular waitstaff or servers. In addition to our lobby
bar downstairs, our Reserved Gallery (upstairs) has a bar.

In addition to street parking, free parking is available daily from 6 pm to midnight for all
The Kessler Theater’s tenants and patrons at ABC Party (1414 W Davis St) and Chango Botanica
(1405 W Davis St). Street parking is available in front (W. Davis Street), on the side
(N. Clinton Avenue), and behind the theater (along Seventh Street). Please be respectful to
our neighbors when parking.

The Kessler no longer has free evening parking privileges in the lot just east of the theater.
That property has contracted with a third-party to offer paid parking only.

Canvas Hotel and The Madison Hotel are great options. They even offer discounted rates to The Kessler Theater patrons – just use code KESSLER at the time of booking.

We want everyone to be relaxed and have a great experience. Our shows range from dancing and
heavy metal to classical and singer-songwriters, so the norms may change per show. A good rule
of thumb is to go by what other concertgoers are doing. If they are clapping, singing, and dancing,
then you should, too; but if they are sitting quietly and listening intently, then you probably should, too.

Most shows are all ages unless otherwise noted on the ticketing page. Generally, those 17 and under
need to be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Show content is not guaranteed to be rated or censored.

Generally speaking, bags should not impede the space of other guests in an intimate venue setting.
We recommend bags smaller than 14” x 14”; however, exceptions can be made for bags containing
medically necessary items. Please note, any bag brought into the venue may be subject to search.

The recording policy is set by each artist. Most local shows may be recorded as long as it is not
disruptive to the patrons or talent. Most touring artists have restrictions that do not allow for
any type of recording device during a show.

Flash photography is not permitted at any of our shows.
