Rent a Piece of History
Whether planning a wedding reception, birthday party, corporate or charitable event, The Kessler Theater will impress your guests with its combination of historic significance and contemporary amenities. Built as an Art Deco movie house in the 1940’s, The Kessler has been transformed to provide a state-of-the-art listening room experience while retaining an aura and spirit of the past. The venue can accommodate 100 to 500 guests, depending on the room layout.
The Kessler is unparalleled in creating an atmosphere that will provide an exciting and unique experience for your guest to remember. Our in-house talent buyer can assist you in your choice of entertainment if desired. We offer in-house bar services and have preferred catering partners in the community.
Venue Rental
The Kessler Theater is available for rentals seven days a week, schedule permitting. You may check our show calendar first to determine if a specific date may be available.
Rental rates vary based on day of the week, number of hours, and type of event. Walk-throughs are generally offered Monday-Friday during the day – by appointment only.

Reserved Gallery
The “Reserved Gallery” is the balcony of The Kessler that can offer 25-125 guests a semi-private party experience. The area surrounds the stage area from an elevated position offering unobstructed site lines from as close as 10 feet. The Gallery guest also has use of the adjacent X+ Gallery bar space. Featuring comfortable furniture, original works of art, a private bar area, dedicated bartender, and restrooms, the X+ area is the perfect place to set up the buffet and entertain before, during, and after the big event. The Gallery space is not rented separately from the main facility for private parties – it is available for use during a full rental or for a semi-private gathering during a regular Kessler show. For semi-private gatherings during a regular show, there may be a ticket purchase requirement.
Suites
The most exclusive performing arts suites in the city. On an elevated platform less than fifty feet from the stage, the sounds and sight lines are unsurpassed. The oversized furniture, original works of art, and exclusive seating is equivalent to hosting a performance in your living room. Note that our Suites are only available for use during a full rental or during a regular Kessler concert. For regular concerts, they are sold with our regular tickets and often sell out quickly.
